01 The problem

What Find My Creator is built to solve.

Brands were running campaigns over chat apps. Creators invoiced manually. Agreements were informal. There was no single platform that handled the full cycle, from campaign brief to content delivery to payment, in one place designed for the South African market.

  • No centralized marketplace

    Brands had no way to discover and vet creators at scale. Outreach was manual, inconsistent, and time-consuming.

  • No workflow management

    Campaign briefs, content submissions, revisions, and approvals happened across email, chat apps, and spreadsheets.

  • No payment infrastructure

    Creators struggled to invoice correctly. Brands delayed payments. No automated billing or escrow mechanism existed.

  • No POPIA compliance tooling

    Creator and campaign data was stored without consent frameworks, retention policies, or POPIA-compliant data flows.

A full-stack SaaS: two portals, one pipeline.

03 Architecture

Two portals. One shared backend.

The agency portal and creator portal run as separate front-end applications drawing from a single Node.js + WordPress REST API backend. POPIA compliance is enforced at the API layer, not as a plugin, as a design decision.
